These 8 - 9 cm dia delicate tea-light holders are finished with Tung oil with a brass finish 4cm metal cup. They are turned green, this means that the wood is freshly cut and each one warps a little as it dries before finishing. Each gives a unique record of the stresses that the wood was under as it grew which are released during drying. Ash has an unblemished cream colour (with occasional inclusions) and Elm has interesting dark spots and marks.
